The rain has eased and Confirmation day is here. This Saturday, 12th September, in two separate liturgies, children will receive the Sacrament of the Holy Spirit. Congratulation to all of them and their families. Many people in the Parish and School have supported them over the past month or so. Thanks to them. We welcome Very Rev Fr Peter Brannelly who has been delegated by the Archbishop to preside at these liturgies.
May the children continue to awaken to the gifts of the Spirit who gives us life and an abundance of joy.
Fr Graham Gatehouse.

Masses during this week from the 6th July -10th July will be held in what was the old Convent Chapel.
This is because we are doing maintenance on the timber floor of the Church all week.

Mass times for weekdays are Monday 8.00am. Wednesday 10.00am, Friday 8.00am.

Masses for Sunday are 6.00pm Saturday evening and 8.00am Sunday morning.

Bookings are not required for the Weekday Masses but are for Weekends.

Thank you
Fr Graham Gatehouse

Stage 3 Approaches!
From the 10th July we enter Stage 3 of the reopening of Churches.
From that date weekend Masses will be at the following times at St Joseph's:

6.00pm Saturday evening
8.00am Sunday morning (NOTE)

We will trial this timetable during Stage 3. From that day 100 people are permitted to gather. However, with the 4 sq m rule still applying this means we can only accept 68 people in St Joseph’s Church. Pre-booking will still be necessary.

Weekday Liturgies will be as now: Monday 8.00am, Wednesday 10.00am, Friday 8.00am.
There will be only one Liturgy of the Word with Holy Communion on Thursdays only at 5.30pm.

Reconciliation will return to the usual times of 4.30pm Saturday and 9.30am Wednesday.
The now familiar hygiene requirements still apply.
