Fr Hefferan Bursary

The family of the late Rev Fr Francis Hefferan who was Parish Priest of Nambour Catholic Church, set up a Benevolent Fund in 2000, specifically to encourage young people to achieve their goals by rewarding outstanding efforts in academia, the arts, or sporting pursuits.

The Fund Committee comprises representatives of community, schools and our Parish.


Applications are now open for the above Bursaries and Awards.
It is open to all young people aged between 15 and 25 years who can display exceptional ability and achievement either academically,
in the arts,
or
sporting pursuits
.

Please note that there will be no Community Service category this year.


Awards (Award winners may re-apply for further future Awards/Bursaries)

Bursaries (Bursary winners may not re-apply in the future)

Applicants can be of any race or creed but must have resided in the Nambour district or districts adjoining Nambour district (Sunshine Coast).

or hand delivered to: St Joseph’s Parish Office (Community Centre) 177 Currie Street Nambour
