Family Groups are a new initiative in our parish. They are made up of family units: single people, married, separated, divorced, young and old, Catholic and non-Catholic. Everyone is welcome.
Non-Catholic spouses are very welcome and become involved in all Family Group activities.
Families Groups share experiences like picnics in the park, a weekend away, Baptisms, and anniversaries. In this way they build a special bond between members of our community.
Family Groups help us to live the faith in our everyday lives.
Our Family Group co-ordinators have decided to make their first family group outing on
Sunday August 28th at 10:30am, at Muller Park, Bli Bli from 10:30-12pm.
Future outings will take place on the 4th Sunday of each month from 10:30am – 12pm.
Other proposed dates for the next family group outings:

especially among young people, and this is an
inspiration to the Church”. As a response to
that desire, “the Christian proclamation on the
family is good news indeed”.
This is the opening paragraph of Pope Francis' exhortation on the family. it is his response to the Synod on the Family that has taken place over the past two years.
He gives a beautiful reflection St Paul's hymn to love found in 1 Corinthians 13, often used at weddings. The whole letter deserves reading and reflection. As he says take time and do not rush through it.
